If you have the same job and they just switched the whole company’s coverage from say Aetna to BC/BS, then any condition will NOT be considered pre-existing.
If you are talking about your personal individual coverage not through work, then it depends on the plan you get from BC/BS. Most plans do have a clause that states if you had any coverage within 60 days prior to the new plan, then there is no pre-existing limitation. You will have to show your Certificate of Continuation of Coverage to get pre-existing conditions covered. Check with the agent selling the new plan to be sure. Get it in writing. Their verbal statements mean nothing legally, I don’t care what they say.
