I am moving to Barcelona, Spain in 10 months and want help trying to find an apartment and information on jobs, health insurance etc. If there is any community or person I could speak with about all of these things and could help me with any questions I have then please let me know…thank you!!!

I’d advice you to go to the Youth info point at C. Calàbria, 147 in Barcelona, telf. 93 483 83 84, over there you can get info about all this matters, if you want to get prior information about jobs, places to life, etc. I’d suggest you the following steps:
1.- visit this web: http://europa.eu/
click on your own language, you’ll find at your left a menu called “Living in the EU” (European Union), over there you’ll find: “working” and you’ll get into a page where to find: jobseekers (right now there are 585 jobs for Spain, 64 for Catalonia), also there is a searching for where to live, as well as so many tips for living in Spain, such us social security insurances, rules of governing, working and living conditions, etc.
2.- suggestion: you just can google “rooms for rent” Barcelona and you’ll find bunches of places. Another suggestion could be “rooms to hire” Barcelona
It’s just to find the correct words, right?

Since I dont know if you speak spanish or catalan I havent give you places to look for in this languages, but it would be helpful you to know any of this languages, but dont worry, here we have adult schools where to learn it for free, and lots of volunteers who teach foreigners catalan as well.
