At that age, you’re not going to find insurance cheap. Anything that offers you coverage for immigrants, for under $ 500 a month, per person, is going to be a scam.

I work as a temp. My agency is threatening to cancel my health insurance because I didn’t work holidays. The hospital didn’t want me to work the holiday because they would pay x1.5 and I was not fully trained.

I knew I would not be paid for the holiday, but didn’t realized they would try to take my insurance (which I have paid for) away because I worked less than 40 hours.

Don’t know where you got the idea you can get free health insurance.

The has been and will continue to be Medicaid for very low income people for which you may qualify. If you don’t qualify, the health care bill will provide subsidies in the form of tax credits to help you pay for health insurance if you make less than 400% of the federal poverty level. This will start in 2014. The way a tax credit works is you pay the entire premium during the year and will receive the subsidy when you file your 2014 taxes.

To answer your question – No, you cannot get free health insurance from the companies that you listed, nor from any other company.

As far as how much you may have to pay for treatment, that is difficult to tell without knowing about any deductibles, co-pays, etc. that you have with the insurance. When choosing an insurance, always ask about your out-of-pocket maximum both in and out of network and they should be able to give you an estimate of what you will pay for most treatments.

We have found some, but hardly any include maternity benefits, and we want that parachute just in case any “accidents” happen. Your local Chamber of Commerce should have a group insurance plan you can participate in (they count you as a group, whoever signs up through the Chamber) which should keep your rates low —in the meantime, if you plan to have children one of you should get a job with insurance benefits —if you become a teacher you will have good benefits.
